A touching rescue was caught on video as an officer from the Bradford Anti-Social Behaviour Bike team came to the assistance of a creature in peril.
The officer spotted a hedgehog in the middle of busy Harrogate Road in Eccleshill on Sunday, and stopped to assist the animal to a nearby grass verge.
The incident was captured on the officer's headcam and later posted on the team's Facebook and Twitter pages.
