TWO men appeared in court this morning, charged with the murder of Bradford grandad Clement 'Butch' Desmier three years ago.
David Lawler, 32, and Nathan Jefferson, 20, appeared from custody at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court, on charges of murder and robbery.
Mr Desmier, 68, was found dead at his home, in Rowlestone Rise, Greengates, on Thursday, August 23, 2012. He had suffered a number of injuries, including stab wounds.
Members of Mr Desmier's family were in court for the five-minute hearing.
Lawler, who gave his address as HMP Wealstun, and Jefferson, of Springwell View, Holbeck, Leeds, were remanded in custody, to appear at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday.
Solicitors for the two defendants said they would be denying the offences.
