A ROAD closure will take place in Bradford city centre next week to allow for resurfacing work and the installation of new traffic signals.
Church Bank and Forster Square will close to traffic between August 10 and 14, and then again from August 17 to 19.
It will re-open during the intervening weekend.
A Bradford Council spokesman said neighbouring businesses had been informed of the possible disruption, along with councillors, Bradford Cathedral, the Chamber of Trade, and the Chamber of Commerce.
Buses will be diverted and re-routed during the ongoing works.
When it re-opens, Church Bank will revert to being for buses, cyclists, hackney carriages, and access only, with signs put up to warn motorists of the restrictions.
