TWO children who got stuck on the roof of a park building in Bradford have thanked firefighters for rescuing them.
The boy and a girl, aged about 13, had climbed onto the roof of the storage shed in Harold Park at Low Moor but were unable to get back down from their 12ft high perch.
A fire crew from Odsal used a short extension ladder to rescue the pair at around 3.50pm today - and then gave them a telling off.
A fire service spokesman said: "They said 'thankyou' and we told them not to do it again. We have enough to do without these kind of incidents."
