Stolen car destroyed by arsonists in Bradford
POLICE are investigating after a stolen car was abandoned and destroyed by arsonists in Bradford yesterday afternoon.
The vehicle, a silver Toyota Starlet, was stolen from the Lidget Green area sometime between 2.30pm and 2.45pm, before being dumped and set alight in Lidget Avenue just after 3.15pm.
Firefighters from Fairweather Green brought the blaze under control, but said the vehicle was burnt out.
Police have now recovered the car to allow forensic examinations to take place, and enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
