MANORLANDS hospice will share in the proceeds of a reunion party being staged in Keighley.

Former pupils and teachers from the town’s Holy Family School are being invited to the event, to be held at Victoria Hall on Saturday, June 13.

The evening will feature entertainment from bands, a DJ and magician.

Tickets cost £12.50, including a pie and peas supper, with proceeds being split between the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice and Keighley Dementia Friendly Group.

The event is being organised by Sonia Morgan, with friends.

“Ticket sales are going well, but we have plenty left and the more we sell the better the night will be and the more we will raise for these two great local causes,” she said.

Manorlands fundraiser Andrew Wood said a similar event about eight years ago for past pupils and teachers of the former Bronte Middle School, in Keighley, was a huge success.

“I hope the former Holy Family people get behind this event just as much and everyone has a great night,” he added.
