CALVERLEY is getting set for garage sale mania this Saturday.
More than 140 families and groups of residents will be having stalls in their gardens and driveways selling new and pre-loved items and produce.
Organiser Georgina Thompson said: “This is an amazing response for a village of only 1,500 people. There’ll be a broad and eclectic range of fare for sale. In fact, everything from bikes to clothes, toys to furniture, home baking, plants and electrical goods. There’ll also be bouncy castles, refreshments and a big children’s treasure hunt with great prizes, including Easter Eggs for the first 100 participants. It promises to be a great day out and loads of fun for all the family.”
And she added: “People are really coming together to make the event a success, which is fantastic to see. It just keeps getting bigger every year.”
The fun runs from 11am to 3pm.
