Council in ‘Big Spring Clean’
BRADFORD Council wardens, ward officers, street cleansing staff, and residents are to take part in a spring clean tidy up in Eccleshill on Saturday.
They will be working on the back streets of Mount Street, Mount Avenue, Mount Terrace and the back of Kings Street. The event is part of the national The Big Spring Clean Day.
In addition, wardens were knocking on doors at the beginning of the week encouraging local residents to help out with the tidy up.
It aims to remove items such as bricks, mattresses, fridges, litter and other debris that have been littering these back streets for some time.
