PEOPLE can join Bradford Siberian husky dog Murphy for a one-mile walk on Saturday, March 28.

‘Murphy’s Army – The Great British Dog Walk’ will start at Centenary Square at 1pm, with registration at noon. More than 50 one-mile walks are taking place across the UK, to raise awareness of the rising number of dog thefts and the importance of micro-chipping.

Murphy (pictured) slipped his lead and was thought to be stolen on December 4. An online campaign followed before Murphy was found in Manchester last month and reunited with owner Andy Smith.
