Resurfacing is put back once again
THE resurfacing of Drake Street, off Hall Ings, had to be cancelled again on Sunday due to the weather, and has now been scheduled for Sunday, March 15.
It cannot be done this coming Sunday due to a major event at St George’s Hall – the Yorkshire Brass Band Championships, which are taking place on Saturday and Sunday.
The street was temporarily closed on January 11, for the road surface to be removed – and had been due to be resurfaced the following weekend.
However due to poor weather this was put back.
