ADVANCE tickets for this year’s Great Yorkshire Show have just gone on sale for what will be the 157th celebration of the best the county has to offer.
The first phone call to book tickets came in as the office at the Great Yorkshire Showground opened yesterday.
Dates are Tuesday, July 14 until Thursday, July 16 when more than 130,000 visitors are expected to attend.
Some 12,000 entries across the competitive classes form the backbone to the farming showcase, from champion bulls to rabbits to poultry. Adults buying tickets now can save £3 with advance tickets selling at £23 each.
