AN ADMINISTRATOR has said he has not been ordered to pay the court costs of former Bradford Bulls owner Omar Khan.
Mr Khan had won a High Court victory over Leeds-based administrator David Wilson, in a dispute over the administration of the Bulls’ former holding company OK Bulls Ltd.
Afterwards, Mr Khan said in a statement that Mr Wilson would have to pay his court costs.
But Mr Wilson said this was “factually incorrect” and that Mr Khan’s legal costs would instead be counted as part of the overall administration costs.
He said: “Mr Khan’s costs were not awarded against the administrator.
“His costs are yet to be assessed and will then fall as a cost of the administration and not payable by the administrator.
“There is a very important difference in this decision.”
OK Bulls Ltd went under in January 2014, owing £1 million. Mr Khan has said he wants an independent liquidator to investigate the “true facts of what occurred around the administration” of the company.
