A car being washed
PLANS to create a car wash at a former car insurance sales office in the Bowling and Barkerend ward have been turned down by Bradford Council planners.
The change of use bid for the site at the Drive-in Centre, Sticker Lane, was refused due to concerns that a hand car wash would result in cars queuing onto the road, causing highway safety issues. It was an amendment to an earlier application which was turned down a year ago.
