A THIRD man arrested following a crash in which pensioner Michael McDermott died has been bailed.
The 70-year-old’s mobility scooter was struck by a black Seat Leon as he crossed Leeds Road, near to Thornbury Avenue, Bradford, on Friday.
Three men from Bradford have now been arrested and bailed as part of the investigation.
The latest is a 22-year-old who was arrested on Monday afternoon on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, failing to stop and failing to report a road traffic collision. Detectives released him on bail yesterday.
On Sunday afternoon, a 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of the same offences.
A 34-year-old was arrested on Monday afternoon on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
