Firefighters rescue trapped girl after wardrobe topples over
FIREFIGHTERS were called to the rescue after a six-year-old girl was trapped in a bedroom by a wardrobe which toppled over behind the door.
She was unable to get out and firefighters used a ladder to reach the bedroom window at a house in Bream Avenue, Cleckheaton, to go inside and move it.
Fire service advice is to use ties if possible to secure tall furniture to a wall.
