PUPILS at a Bradford primary school showed off their varied talents in front of their parents and classmates at an X Factor style talent show.

Southmere's Got Talent, held each year to improve pupil's confidence, took place at Southmere Primary School on Thursday evening.

Among the talents on show were breakdancing, singing and rapping. Those taking part were judged by a panel made up of the school's head Hayley Marshall local business leaders and members of the music industry.

Held at the end of the school day, most of the acts dressed the part, and the stage saw performances of songs like Pharell Williams' hit Happy and songs by Clean Bandit.

Mrs Marshall said; "We're delighted with how confident and talented the pupils were and that it represented the diverse community. The tickets sold out very quickly. We hold the event every year to raise children's confidence and self esteem."
