A BRADFORD City legend has visited a school to help get pupils fired up for this weekend's momentous FA Cup showdown.

Pupils at Bradford Christian School in Bolton Woods went claret and amber crazy ahead of the Bantams' Fifth Round clash with Premier League club Sunderland at Valley Parade on Sunday.

They and staff were invited to come to school in the team's famous colours to hear former City player and assistant manager Wayne Jacobs talked about his time at the club and how his Christian faith fitted in with his sports career.

Teacher Steve Heath said: "A lot of students and staff at the school are Bradford City fans and everyone is talking about the team in the FA cup.

"We thought it would be really nice to have everyone come in in team colours. Everyone has been really excited that they have done this giant-killing."

League One City's defeat of Premier League leaders Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the last round has been described by many as the greatest giant-killing act in FA Cup history.
