CREATIVE children from a south Bradford school have been learning about each other’s cultures.
And now Bankfoot Primary School has created a wall display which shares the different backgrounds of its pupils.
It is part of the children’s spiritual, moral and cultural education programme of work linked to religious education studies.
Head teacher Juliet Wright said the project had been important for the pupils’ cultural awareness and the eye-catching display had proved popular.
She added: “We have quite a few children with Pakistani, Eastern European and African backgrounds and this is part of the work they have done around different religions.
“The children have commented on how fantastic the display looks.”
Children have also completed work on the same theme individually during their school holidays.
