Six men were arrested and ten women, including a 15-year-old girl, rescued in another human trafficking operation at a Bradford pub.

Police and partner agencies carried out an operation at the pub in Bowling Old Lane, West Bowling, Bradford, earlier this month following concern for the safety of a number of people and reports of alleged human trafficking.

Superintendent Vince Firth said six men, aged 40, 33, 31, 23, 22 and 20, were arrested from the scene on suspicion of human trafficking and fraud offences. They were later released on bail pending further inquiries.

He said nine women and a 15-year-old girl were recovered from the premises. They were taken to a local witness reception centre, where they were spoken to by specially trained officers before they were returned to their homes in Bradford.
