BINGLEY-TRAINED racehorse Mister McGoldrick and his retired companions will have an extra 20 bags of feed this winter, thanks to a £200 donation to the charitable rehabilitation centre where he now lives.
The money was raised through sales of a horse calendar by Telegraph & Argus crime reporter Steve Wright and court reporter Jenny Loweth.
T&A staff, Bradford police officers, barristers and solicitors, and staff at Bradford Crown Court and Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court all bought calendars.
Mister McGoldrick, who was trained by Sue and Harvey Smith at High Eldwick and won 15 races during his career, was on hand as Mr Wright (left) gave the money to Kevin Atkinson, of New Beginnings, at the group’s North Yorkshire base.
