A MANAGEMENT plan for one of the district’s best-loved tourist attractions could soon be signed off.
Bradford Council has set out its long-term vision for the Saltaire World Heritage Site.
The plan, which includes more than 50 separate projects, looks set to be approved by the council’s executive next week.
It has already been discussed by the authority’s regulatory and appeals committee and the Shipley area committee.
If signed off by the executive, it would then have to go to Unesco for approval.
Councillor Val Slater, Bradford Council’s heritage champion, said: “The need for a robust management plan is vital for the protection of the village.”
