STUDENTS from Shenzhen Institute of Technology in China flew in for a visit to Bradford College to form a unique partnership.
The newly-forged link with the institute involves working with Bradford students to create an animated film and a computer game for entry in next year’s Bradford Animation Festival.
The project, which is supported by the British Council’s Skills and Employability initiative, is building on existing civic links between Shenzhen and Bradford and celebrates their status as Unesco Cities of Design and Film.
Activities that took place during the visit included visits to this year’s Bradford Animation Festival, meetings with David Wilson, the Director of Bradford Unesco City of Film, and joint workshops where the students have worked on the development of the animation and game.
