Hunt after chippy knife incident
POLICE are investigating an alleged knifepoint robbery at a Bradford fish and chip shop. The incident happened at Harry’s in High Street, Queensbury, shortly before 3pm last Friday.
A police spokesman said the suspect, armed with a knife, entered the kitchen through a fire door and there was an altercation with a member of staff, during which the knife was knocked from his hand. The suspect, who had an Irish accent and a beard, fled in the direction of Spring Onion Street.
