Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Roger L’Amie
MORE than £100 was raised for the Lord Mayor of Bradford’s chosen charities at a Diwali celebration.
The event, held at the Leuva Patidar Samaj Prayer Hall and Community Centre, Lidget Green, last month, attracted more than 450 people, including Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Roger L’Amie.
It was organised by the Bradford Gujarati Samaj to mark Diwali. The funds will go to charities including Marie Curie Cancer Care.
