Police target shop thieves
POLICE in Brighouse have introduced a new policing priority.
Officers from the town’s neighbourhood policing team are keen to crack down on thefts from shops in the town centre.
A police spokesman said: “The priority for Brighouse has been changed to reflect the time of year and the fact that historically the number of recorded incidents of theft from shop / shoplifting increase on the run up to Christmas and New Year.”
