SECOND-year Incommunities apprentice plasterer Keeley McIntyre apprentice has won a runners-up prize at a national award ceremony.
She picked up the award at the 16th Annual Plaisterers’ Training Awards.
Presenting the prize was from from the Lord Mayor of the City of London, Alderman Fiona Woolf, and Michael Jones, Master of the Plaisterers’ Company, both pictured.
Miss McIntyre, 19, of Shipley, was nominated by Leeds College of Building.
Earlier this year, she was voted Best New Apprentice at Incommunities’ 2014 Apprentice of the Year awards.
Delroy Beverley, a director at the social landlord, said: “On behalf of Incommunities I would like to con-gratulate Keeley on her success.”
“To make the top three finalists in these national awards is an achievement that Keeley can be very proud of and I would also like to thank Leeds College of Building for their support.
“Keeley’s success demonstrates yet again the high calibre of everyone on our award-winning apprenticeship programme.”
