PEOPLE in Bradford are being asked to support a scheme delivering gifts for dogs to homelessness projects across Yorkshire.

Dogs Trust will be delivering a record number of parcels to homeless people with dogs this Christmas, as national requests have increased by more than 12 per cent.

In Yorkshire more than 100 packages, including collars, leads, coats and treats, will be distributed.

Dogs Trust Hope Project manager Clare Kivlehan said: “Each year we’re delighted to be able to distribute Christmas gifts to homeless hounds to help make Christmas happier for them and their owners.

“We are appealing to the public to help by buying a toy or coat from our Hope Project Amazon gift list.”
