Volunteers sought for collections
MARIE Curie Cancer Care is seeking volunteers for its street collections in Keighley and Haworth before Christmas.
The charity said more helpers were vital for the success of the collections.
Proceeds will provide one-to-one nursing care for terminally ill people in their own homes.
Last year’s West Yorkshire Christmas collections raised more than £30,000, which funded more than 650 hours of home nursing care. The collections are in Keighley on November 22, and in Haworth on December 6.
