STUDENTS at a Bradford school will see their artwork go on display in a Farsley art gallery this week.

A total of 155 pieces of original artwork produced by Bradford Grammar School Art students, aged 11 to 18, will go on show at Sunny Bank Mills Gallery from Saturday, the seventh exhibition the school has held.

Shiraaz Ali, sixth form art pupil and exhibitor, said: “It’s been my dream to exhibit in a gallery and I feel proud that people will be looking at my artwork.”

Henry Thornton, art teacher at Bradford Grammar School, said: “The standard of the work on show is outstanding and we are delighted to be working with Sunny Bank Mills Gallery.”

Pieces will be available for sale on application and a ten per cent donation will be made to charity.

The exhibition is free and runs until November 23.
