A CHILDCARE and education centre in Bierley, Bradford, has been rated “good” by Government inspectors.
Bobbins, based on the grounds of Newhall Park Primary School, was inspected by Ofsted last month, with the result announced last week.
The centre – which has 101 children on its roll – is provided by Surestart, and inspectors said: “Children make good progress and are well prepared for the next stage in their learning.
“Staff are good role models that consistently set clear expectations about what is acceptable behaviour.
“Children’s communication and language development is given high priority. Speech and language difficulties are quickly identified and tackled early on to ensure children get the support they need.”
The centre was also judged to be “good” at the last inspection in 2009.
