POLICE organised a football tournament as a half term diversion for youngsters in the Heaton area of Bradford.
Thirty three children took part in the tournament, held at the Zara sports centre, which had been organised by PCSO Charlene Henegan, with help from colleagues Tony Hooson and Sam Sagar.
The winning team was the All Stars from Heaton, who were awarded a trophy and footballs donated by the Tesco in Haworth Road.
West Yorkshire Police say such events help improve engagement between officers and children, and reduce anti-social behaviour.
