TEENAGER Laura Bell has topped her £1,000 target by shaving off her hair for a children’s cancer charity.
The 17-year-old, of Orchard Grove, Bradford, had her locks shorn at the Oddfellows Arms in Greengates one week ago in aid of Candlelighters which helped her and her family when she was diagnosed with an acute type of leukaemia ten years ago.
Laura, who has been in recovery for seven years now, has made more than £2,000 with donations from family, friends and wellwishers.
Donations can still be made at justgiving.com/Lau ra-Bell2014/.
