NUMBERS of commuters using buses to get into Bradford in the morning are up, according to the latest figures collated by Bradford Council.
It recorded an 16.8 per cent increase in bus use.
During the same checks, 10 more cyclists were recorded, which councillors were told “statistically doesn’t mean a lot” with numbers of walkers up by 112.
They also heard that the council is in the process of developing a travel plan. The council’s principal engineer, Joe Grint, told councillors: “ We need to lead by example.”
