Yobs attack firefighters
FIRE-FIGHTERS have been stoned by yobs on two consecutive evenings after being called to deliberate fires in the Bond Road area, near Toller Lane.
As a result they will now be accompanied by police to future calls in the area and firefighters have been told police are increasing their presence in the area.
The incidents have happened between 6pm and 9pm and so far no firefighters have been struck by missiles and there has been no damage to their vehicles.
