BRADFORD Industrial Museum is staging a event to mark the centenary of the beginning of the First World War.
A Week at War will be held on Saturday, from11am-1.30pm, in the museum’s Cafe Gallery.
Harbinder Singh will talk about ‘Invisible Heroes’ and the involvement of Indians fighting for British forces and how this continues to impact on their descendants today.
This will be followed by 1914 wartime style refreshments and the chance to see a number of items from stored collections as well as the newly displayed commemorative Poppy Quilt, made as part of the Bradford Remembers community project.
The exhibition runs until November 19.
