FIFTEEN cars were caught speeding during a 75-minute police operation in Barkerend, Bradford.
Two PCSOs monitored vehicles on Barkerend Road after residents raised concerns about speeding motorists.
More than 250 cars passed the speedwatch checkpoint between 1.30pm and 2.45pm last Wednesday.
Sergeant Tany Ditta said: "Officers from your local neighbourhood policing team carried out a successful speedwatch operation and hope that by organising operations it will send out a positive message that speeding will not be tolerated within our communities.
"All motorists that exceeded the speed limit will be issued with warning letters. Further speedwatch operations will be carried out within ward over the autumn months.
"The recent speedwatch operations within the ward area have seen a significant reduction of motorists exceeding the speed limit. The message seems to be hitting home - which is brilliant."
