PLANS are advancing for this year’s Christmas lights display in Baildon and councillors will be updated on progress later this week.
The switch on is scheduled for November 28 at 5.45pm and the display is expected to be on a similar size and tone to last year’s show, which was regarded as successful.
Baildon Town Council’s Assets Committee will hear an update on progress with this year’s event when they meet on Thursday morning.
Contractors called Christmas Plus are involved in the scheme and discussions have already taken place over the possibility of including some additional decorations.
The council is organising the event in conjunction with the Baildon and Christmas body, which is planning to publicise the event.
