AN INQUEST has opened and adjourned into the death of an 84-year-old man who died after a collision with a car in Bradford on Monday night.
Married Shedr Zada, of Park Crescent, Undercliffe, was crossing New Otley Road from a central island shortly before 7pm when the collision happened with a silver Rover 25.
He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary suffering with significant and unsurvivable injuries.
He died the next day, said assistant Bradford coroner Mary Burke today.
