POLICE in east Bradford have identified three groups of people blamed for anti-social behaviour and have issued 15 warning letters as a result, with more work promised.
The Bradford East anti-social behaviour team was called in when it became apparent a vulnerable woman on Foston Lane, Fagley, was suffering with problems including eggs being thrown at her, rubbish being dumped in her garden and name calling.
Five people were served with warning letters and officers are now monitoring the situation.
Officers from the same team were also made aware of behaviour problems on Rowlestone Rise, Ravenscliffe, and working with the Incommunities social housing organisation, ten warning letters have been served on several families.
Further intervention work, including Families First and the Youth Offending Team, has followed and is expected to continue.
A gang blamed for throwing stones at passing cars in Eccleshill has also been identified and will be visited in the days ahead by members of the anti-social behaviour team.
