A TIDY-UP and litter pick at the Crooked Lane bridleway, in Thackley, attracted a good turnout of volunteers.
Organised by the Cote Farm Action Group, member Isobel Burgess said the initiative at the ancient path had been been a great success.
She said: "I was astounded at the amount of litter that was collected - everything from crisp packets, carrier bags, broken glass bottles, cans, even an old Christmas tree which had been dumped.
"Everyone had an absolutely fantastic time and showed some real community spirit with people of all ages coming together," Miss Burgess said.
