POLICE are hunting a man who pulled a 19 year-old woman to the floor and robbed her of her handbag in Bradford in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The incident occurred at about 3am outside flats on Thornton Road, close to the junction of Tumbling Hill Street.

As the woman got to her door, a small silver car pulled up alongside her and a man got out and grabbed at her handbag, pulling her to the floor.

He then stole her bag and got back into the car, which drove off towards the city centre.

The victim was left with minor injuries and was extremely distressed.

The man was described as black, in his late teens to early twenties and of stocky build. He was short in height, wearing a light grey hooded tracksuit top, darker grey coloured tracksuit bottoms, and a pair of black trainers which had two white stripes on.

Police are also seeking to trace a woman driving the car, who was described as white, in her early twenties, with dark red or brown hair in a bob.

She was wearing a dark coloured zipped-up hooded top.
