Man taken to hospital with serious head injuries after five-car smash in Gomersal
A MAN has been taken to hospital with "serious" head injuries after a five-vehicle smash in Gomersal this afternoon.
He was driving a silver Mini which police say collided with four other cars on Oxford Road just before 2.15pm.
He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where his condition is described as "serious but stable."
The incident happened on Oxford Road, the A651, between the junctions of Knowles Lane and Dewsbury Road, the A652, and the road is currently closed to all traffic in all directions.
