THE leader of the Conservative group on Bradford Council has paid heartfelt tribute to his wife after she lost a battle against cancer.
Vivienne Miller had successfully fought breast cancer, but three years ago she was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour and the disease spread to her lungs and spine.
The mum-of-one died at Manorlands hospice last Wednesday, aged 54.
Her husband of 33 years, Glen Miller, said: "She was always happy and thinking of others.
"Vivienne knew the cancer was terminal but she never complained or asked, 'why me?'
"Despite everything she was going through, she continued to help people.
"She didn't know how long she would have, but she was determined to live every day to the full."
The funeral is at Haworth Parish Church on Monday, at 11am, followed by cremation at Oakworth.
Mrs Miller (pictured) leaves her husband and their 22-year-old daughter, Georgina.
