Revellers enjoyed unseasonably warm weather when Bradford's Dominica Association held its annual street party.
The event was held at the association's base in Worthington Street and saw people of all ages enjoy traditional food stalls, arts and crafts, dance performances, face painting and a book signing by Trish Cooke, the Bradford-born author, screenwriter and former presenter of beloved children's TV series Playdays.
It was preceded by a mass at St Joseph's Church.
Afterwards the organisers praised people who had attended, supported, participated, volunteered and donated to the success of the celebrations.
The city's Dominica Association was set up in the 1970s to raise money for the victims of Hurricane David in Dominica.
