WARRANTS were issued for two cake-makers who failed to appear at court yesterday on a total of 33 food hygiene charges.
Muhammad Farooq and Mohammed Awais allegedly breached food safety regulations at their Jay's Handmade Cakes business on Thorncliffe Road, Bradford. They face 11 charges each in relation to the cake firm.
Farooq also faces two charges in relation to takeaways called Chicken Cottage and Raja's Chicken Bar.
Magistrates at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court issued a warrant for their arrest after they failed to turn up for their hearings yesterday.
