CULLINGWORTH Scarecrow Festival has raised £1,500 for Manorlands and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Each charity will receive £750 from the proceeds of last month’s event, which attracted hundreds of people to Cullingworth.
Residents and visitors walked round the village spotting more than 50 characters from books and nursery rhymes, then voting for their favourite.
The winning scarecrow was Alice, with the Child Catcher coming second and A Sunningdale Tale third. The winning scarecrow in the open category was the Mole Catcher.
The programme draw was won by C Longbottom and the Nursery Rhyme Quiz was won by the Chambers family.
