AN ANNUAL memorial golf day raised £1,026 for Epilepsy Action.
About 20 teams took part in the event, at Riddlesden Golf Club.
Keighley man Joseph Mancakas and his family stage the event in memory of his son, René, who died following an epileptic seizure.
More than £8,500 has been raised since the first golf day was held six years ago, and earlier this year the Yeadon-based charity presented an award in recognition of the achievement.
"We were very pleased with the amount raised this year and are grateful to everyone for their support," said Mr Mancakas.
"Riddlesden members came up trumps again – they made up most of the teams – and I would like to say a big thank-you to sponsors Charles and Angela Wysocki, of Calmag, for their fantastic backing."
