A MAN was airlifted to hospital this evening after a tractor overturned as he was driving it in Addingham, near Ilkley, though his injuries were not thought to be life threatening.

Firefighters with special rescue equipment were sent from Bradford to help with the operation following the accident at a location off Cross Bank Lane at 5.42pm. The casualty was a 69-year-old man.
