SHOPPERS queued outside the Aldi store on Valley Road in Bradford before it was officially re-opened.

The supermarket, which first opened in 1999, has been expanded to 950sqm to meet increased demand and now features an 102-space car park. It re-opened on July 10.

Aldi has partnered with the local See and Know Parent and Toddler Group to offer product donations to help with the daily running of the group.

Lindsey Chen, store manager, said: “There was a fantastic buzz down at the store and it was great to see so many people turn out for our re-opening event.”

Aldi will also be holding a recruitment event at the Bradford City Stadium on Tuesday, July 29 between 8am and noon.
