Students organised a party with a pirate theme to raise money to help skin cancer sufferers.
The event at Yorkshire Martyrs Catholic College, in Tong, was the idea of 14-year-old Leanne Stourton, whose grandma Linda Gardner, 57, has battled malignant melanoma for three years.
Mrs Gardner, of Woodside, Bradford, launched a fundraising drive last year to raise money for the Bradford, Airedale and Wharfedale Dermatology Trust, a charity which was set up to improve care for skin cancer patients.
Now her granddaughter is hoping to add to the thousands of pounds already raised by Mrs Gardner.
